Honey Raisin Cookies

Freshly baked cookies are great thing for the grandkids. The smell wafting through the air is sure to grab their attention. The oatmeal cookies are sweetened only with honey and make a great snack

 



 

1/2 cup margarine (room temperature) 115 g
1 cup honey 240 ml
1   egg 1  
1 1/2 cups sifted flour 370 ml
1/2 tsp baking powder 2.5 ml
4 tblsp milk 60 ml
1 2/3 cup oatmeal 400 ml
1 cup raisin 240 ml

Preheat oven to 350 F - 180 C
  • Blend honey into softened margarine
  • Stir in egg.
  • Sift flour and baking powder together then add oatmeal
  • Alternate mixing oatmeal mixture and milk into margarine/honey mixture
  • Stir in raisins
  • Drop spoonfuls onto a greased baking pan
  • Bake for 15 minutes.
  • Makes approximately 3 doz cookies
