Honey adds that extra bit of flavour to cooking. You can taste that this is no ordinary cake
Mix together
1 stick butter
2 ½ cups soft wheat flour
1 cup honey
1 tsp. soda
3 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
3 mashed bananas
½ tsp. salt (optional)
2 tsp. vanilla
½ cup pecans
1 cup yogurt
Add creamed mixture and yogurt to dry ingredients and beat well. Pour into a greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 325¬?F for 25-30 minutes. Let cool and frost.
Icing
½ stick butter
4 oz. cream cheese or drained yogurt
1 Tbs. honey
6 oz cream cheese
1-2 tsp. vanilla
Cream together and whip until fluffy.
